Nose
The nose reveals delicate and complex notes of fresh pear, green apple and creamy vanilla. These are joined by aromas of citrus, strawberry and the characteristic touches of Campbeltown: a subtle smokiness accompanied by cedar wood, heather honey and sea salt. The malt makes itself distinctly heard in this maritime and spicy nose.

Palate
The attack is soft and round, with a generous, oily texture that fills the palate. The flavours reveal butter caramel, yellow fruits such as apricot and mirabelle plum, as well as dark chocolate. Spicy touches of white pepper and ginger bring a lovely structure, while a light peatiness balances the whole. Notes of tinned pear and citrus are also present. The finish is long and lingering, carried by notes of smoked wood, dried fruits and a hint of salt that recalls the characteristic maritime influence of Campbeltown. It lingers particularly on melon and smoke.
