Lombardie is the heart of the famous Franciacortaproduction, Italian wines vying for singularity and inventiveness. The region is located in the North of Italy, a few hundred kilometres away from Milan. The vineyard was established on the southern hills of Lake Iseo. The production area extends over 1600 hectares (on 19 towns between the cities of Bergama and Brescia). The annual production is about 3.800.000 bottles of Franciacorta DOCG.

As a tribute to the founder of Ca'del Bosco, the Annamaria Clementi cuvee was created from the best grapes of the different Franciacorta plots of the estate, only during exceptional vintages. Great care was taken during the vinification. It then has aged for 7 years on lees in order to obtain a spectacular golden cuvee, with a fine and elegant effervescence. The 2006 Annamaria Clementi is characterised by a very complex bouquet and beautiful aromatic strength on the palate.

The 2009 Franciacorta Dosage Zero of the Italian estateCa'Del Bosco is an effervescent white wine composed of 65% Chardonnay, 13% Pinot Bianco and 22% Pinot Nero (Pinot Noir). It was created following the method of the Champagne region. This cuvee was produced with only one single harvest in 2009 during which each bunch was carefully selected. No dosage was added to this "ZeroDosage" in order to obtain a wine of great purity. This wine is a reflection of its terroir and of the know-how of the Ca'Del Bosco estate - this 2009 Franciacorta is mineral and crystalline; it will perfectly pair with fish of seafood.

The 2008 Vintage Collection Brut of Ca'Del Bosco is 55% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Bianco and 30% Pinot Nero. This Franciacorta has character and reproduces the best of its typical grape-varieties. It is the result of a careful fruit selection from 13 Chardonnay plots ( 31 years old on average in Erbusco, Adro, Cazzago San Martino, Corte Franca and Passirano) 2 Pinot Bianco plots ( 21 years old on average in Passirano) and 7 Pinot Nero plots (19 years old on average in Erbusco and Passirano). The 2008 Vintage Collection Brut of Ca'del Bosco is a blend of outstanding terroirs and a careful vinification which has created an elegant wine that finds its balance between freshness and crispy fruit.
The Franciacorta Cuvee Prestige is the essence of the Ca'del Bosco style. It is 75% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Nero and 10% Pinot Bianco. It comes from more than 134 plots, vinified separately and skillfully blended. The finest vintages reserves represent 20% of the final product. Franciacorta Cuvee Prestige of Ca'del Bosco was aged on lees for 28 months: this process allows to express the whole richness and personality of this classic, balanced and fresh wine with a delicious acidity hint. This cuvee is to be shared at any occasion.
Wine Advocate-Parker : The NV Franciacorta Cuvée Prestige Brut is packaged in a squat and transparent bottle. This beautiful sparkling wine shows a unique aromatic profile with spicy notes of spearmint and fresh oregano leaf that pop to the top. Beyond those vertical aromas are heavier tones of stone fruit, honeydew melon and blanched almond. This Franciacorta (75% Chardonnay, 10% Pinot Bianco and 15% Pinot Nero) offers spicy and vibrant aromatic tones that you don't find in its peers.

Cuvée d'eccezione della maison Bellavista, il Franciacorta Cuvée Brut è il perfetto ambasciatore della sua denominazione, rappresentando con il suo stile unico la qualità del suo terreno. Frutto di più di 100 lotti coltivati in 10 comuni della Franciacorta, è composto da più di 30 vini di cui la maggioranza gode di 7 mesi d'invecchiamento in botti di rovere. I vini di riserva - tra i 6 e i 9 anni - apportano la complessità a questo delizioso assemblaggio. Il Franciacorta Cuvée Brut è composto da Chardonnay (80%) e Pinot Nero e Bianco(20%). L'aspetto è di colore giallo paglierino con riflessi verdolini e lascia spazio a una schiuma ricca di vivacità e persistenza. Il bouquet è ampio e ricco con note di fiori bianchi e frutta matura e tocchi di clorofilla e vaniglia. La bocca è piena, di una grande profondità ed armonia, in splendido equilibrio.
Wine Advocate-Parker : The non-vintage Franciacorta Cuvee Brut represents an easy blend of 80% Chardonnay with 18% Pinot Nero and 2% Pinot Bianco. The sparkler just oozes freshness and vitality with pear, white flower and nectarine. The medium finish ends with toasted nut and honey. Some 950,000 bottles are made. It is hard to beat this good value. Drink: 2014-2017.

Franciacorta Extra Brut Release 2004 from Ricci Curbastro
The 2004 Franciacorta Extra Brut Museum Release is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. It was vinified in vat for 65 months (7 years after the harvest). This straw-tinted bright yellow coloured wine displays fine and persistent bubbles. It is complex on the nose. It gives off intense hazelnut, grilled almond, vanilla and butter biscuit aromas, followed by fresh citrus and pineapple notes. On the palate, this 2004 Franciacorta Extra Brut Museum Release is fresh, balanced, with a good minerality and long finish. Ricci Curbastro is famous worldwide for its great quality Franciacorta.
