The estate

Founded in 1984 by Olivier Leflaive and his brother Patrick, the eponymous house has established itself as an essential reference in France. Based in Puligny-Montrachet, the estate relies on a hybrid model combining its own vineyards with grape purchases. Today, the next generation carries on the family legacy with passion. The Olivier Leflaive house stands out for its deep respect for Burgundian terroir.

The vineyard

The Les Fichots climat, located within the Pernand-Vergelesses appellation, sits on the lower and middle part of the slope. Its exposure favours optimal ripening while preserving a lovely freshness. The deep soils stand out for their richness in ferruginous clay, giving the grapes a unique character. The vines are cultivated using sustainable methods.

The vintage

The year 2023 was marked by contrasting weather conditions. The generous, early harvest underwent rigorous sorting, both in the vineyard and at the winery, to retain only the highest-quality berries.

Winemaking and aging

To craft the Pernand-Vergelesses 1er cru "Fichots" 2023, the grapes undergo meticulous winemaking. Aging takes place over several months in French oak barrels, allowing for a harmonious integration of the aromas.

Grape variety

Pinot Noir (100%).
