Miraval 2016: A rose from the Côtes de Provence appellation with a beautiful salinity
Miraval rose is a wine produced in the Cotes de Provence appellation. Selected from the best vineyards, the vines are planted on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of 350 meters. Miraval 2016 is a blend of Cinsault, Grenache, Rolle and Syrah. The first three varietals are pressed, and Syrah is vinified by bleeding. Then the wines are vinified in stainless steel vats (95%) and in barrels (5%).
Miraval Rose 2016 shiny pale salmon colour with crisp and clear reflections. The nose is aromatically fresh with notes of spring flowers. On the palate, the Miraval Rose 2016 presents a lively acidity paired with a refreshing salinity. The saline finish is the confirmation of this great minerality.
