The estate
Built during the reign of Napoleon III, Château Minuty was purchased in 1936 by Gabriel Farnet, who set out to restore it to its former splendor. Thus, in 1955, the estate joined the small circle of the 23 Crus Classés among the Côtes de Provence wines. The estate then crossed paths with Monique and Etienne Matton who, thanks to their dedicated work, largely helped establish Château Minuty’s reputation on the finest tables of the French Riviera. Today, brothers Jean-Etienne and François Matton proudly carry on the legacy while instilling a modern spirit into the estate.
The vineyard
The vines of Château Minuty "Rose et Or" are planted across the estate’s three historic terroirs in Provence. These parcels rest on schist, clay and sand soils, offering geological diversity that contributes to the wine’s complexity. The estate holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification.
Winemaking and aging
The grapes for Château Minuty "Rose et Or" 2025 are harvested by hand. Only free-run juice is selected, then fermented at low temperature. No malolactic fermentation is carried out, preserving the wine’s freshness and liveliness.
