The Freshness and Power of a Burgundy Red Wine

The Estate
Founded in Beaune in 1797, the Louis Latour estate is still owned by the same family, now represented by its eleventh generation. Boasting 50 hectares in Côte d'Or, it holds the largest collection of Burgundy grands crus. Known for its ability to combine tradition and innovation, Louis Latour has successfully enhanced its exceptional terroirs through mastered vinification and its own facilities, such as its cooperage and historic cellars.

The Vineyard
The "Les Chaillots" plot is located in the commune of Aloxe-Corton, in Côte de Beaune. Its name echoes the stony nature of its soils, composed of clay, sand, and alluvial gravel. The vines, averaging 35 years old, produce a concentrated and elegant wine, true to this renowned climate.

Vinification and Aging
The grapes are hand-harvested and then traditionally vinified in open vats. Malolactic fermentation is fully completed. Aging takes place over 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels, 35% of which are new, from the estate's cooperage.

Grape Variety
100% Pinot Noir
