Domaine Faiveley : Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand cru 2013

2013 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet, pure Chardonnay, Burgundy.

In 1700, the Montrachet reached magnificence thanks to the intendant Ferrand who wrote a dissertation for the education of the Duke of Burgundy, That dissertation indicated that the best wines of the realm came from Montrachet. The 2013 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru from Domaine Faiveley is pure Chardonnay. 

This 2013 wine is light and bright yellow coloured. The both fine and strong nose offers a blend of white and yellow fruits, white flower (acacia and orange tree) and just baked brioche aromas. The palate develops an aromatic expression of stewed fruits and candied citrus fruits which bring finesse and distinction to the wine. The 2013 Bienvenues-Bâtard-Montrachet carries a fresh and tangy lingering finish.
