The estate
The Domaine Peyre Rose was founded by Marlène Soria in the 1990s. Born into a family of winegrowers, Marlène Soria initially set out to plant vines for her personal consumption, but the estate has gained renown—thanks to the quality of its wines—and earned recognition from numerous critics, including Robert Parker.
The vineyard
Overseeing a 20-hectare vineyard, Domaine Peyre Rose has thus become an unmissable benchmark among the great wines of Languedoc.
The wine
Produced as a Vin de France, the Les Cistes cuvée is crafted from hillside vineyards on stony soils composed of clay and limestone.
Blend
Les Cistes 2014 from Domaine Peyre Rose is a blend of Grenache and Syrah.
