The estate
The Domaine Peyre Rose was founded by Marlène Soria in the 1990s. Born into a family of winegrowers, Marlène Soria initially aimed to plant vines for her own personal consumption, but thanks to the quality of its wines, the estate has gained renown and recognition from many critics, notably Robert Parker.
The vineyard
Overseeing a 20-hectare vineyard, Domaine Peyre Rose has thus become an essential benchmark among the great wines of Languedoc.
The wine
Produced as a Vin de France, the Belle Léone 2014 cuvée is crafted from vineyards planted on hillsides on stony soils made up of clay and limestone.
Blend
Belle Leone 2014 from Domaine Peyre Rose is a blend of Mourvèdre and Syrah.
