The estate
Domaine des Perdrix was taken over in 1996 by the Devillard family, winegrowers in Burgundy for five generations. Located in the heart of the Côte de Nuits, the estate extends over around 15 hectares, including almost the entire monopole of the Premier Cru Nuits-Saint-Georges Aux Perdrix and a parcel in Échézeaux Grand Cru. It is now run by Amaury and Aurore Devillard. Domaine des Perdrix has established itself as a contemporary reference among the great wines of Burgundy.
The vineyard
The Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru "Les Terres Blanches" cuvée comes from a parcel located just above the Aux Perdrix climat, south of the village of Nuits-Saint-Georges. The Pinot Noir vines thrive on a gentle south-east-facing slope, on clay-limestone soils with a predominance of clay, which favour ripeness and aromatic freshness in the grapes.
Vinification and maturing
The grapes used for the Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er cru "Les Terres Blanches" 2024 come from a manual harvest, with rigorous sorting of the bunches before they arrive at the winery.
Grape variety
This wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir.
