2013 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru
Domaine David Duband’s 2013 Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru Les Sentiers displays a gorgeous ruby-red colour with shiny beams. The fresh nose exudes red fruits, violet, or even pear. This Burgundy is rich on the palate, with well-structured tannins that lead to a powerful, almost-iodine finish.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2013 Chambolle-Musigny les Sentiers 1er Cru was tight-lipped on the nose when I tasted it at the domaine. The palate is medium-bodied with firm, quite rigid tannins. There is decent, broody, dark berry fruit here, although the finish seems a little serious at the moment. That said, there is a pleasant dash of spice on the aftertaste - this will be interesting to revisit after bottling.
