The estate

Founded in 1990 in Marsannay-la-Côte, on the outskirts of Dijon, Château de Marsannay quickly established itself as a benchmark estate of the Côte de Nuits, in Burgundy. Acquired in 2012 by Olivier Halley, it now extends over 40 hectares, 28 of which are located on the finest terroirs of the Marsannay appellation. The entire vineyard is farmed organically and certified by Ecocert, reflecting a strong environmental commitment and a constant pursuit of precision at the level of individual plots.

The vineyard

The vines used for this white wine are part of the 28 hectares that Château de Marsannay cultivates in the Marsannay appellation, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard, farmed entirely organically and certified by Ecocert, is planted on clay-limestone soils typical of the area, providing an ideal setting for Chardonnay to express itself in a dry, precise style.
