Located in Barsac, the Chateau Coutet vineyard stretches over 40 hectares and is composed of approximately 38 year old vines. This 2007 is a blend of 75% Semillon, 23% Sauvignon Blanc and 2% Muscadelle. The wine reveals a nice golden colour with yellow highlights and a very fine nose that combines alcohol candied orange zests, gingerbread and beeswax notes that create a very complex aromatic palette. The 2007 Chateau Coutet attack is very fleshy, round with well-marked honey, vanilla, dried apricot aromas followed by some fine and elegant spicy notes.
