The cuvée Riesling Frédéric Emile 2007 of the Maison Trimbach shows a golden yellow robe and, on the nose, it unveils citrussy aromas: lemon, grapefruit and orange. On the mouth, it is straightforward, precise, with a salty touch and a lemon zest that gives it bite. The finish is persistant and fresh. Solely coming from the terroirs of Geisberg and Osterberg around Ribeauvillé, the cuvée Riesling Frédéric Emile 2007 of the Trimbach Family is a dry wine whose vineyards produce a grape of a great ripeness.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2007 Riesling Frederic Emile is clear, deep and fruit intense on the nose, very aromatic and mineral. It has over-ripe, dried raisin flavors on the palate that are intense, dry and compact, but does not have the finesse and stimulating elegance of the Clos Ste Hune.
