2007 is an atypical and complex year for the Champagne Region. Indeed, the harvests started in august after a sunny and hot spring. This R de Ruinart 2007 has a luminous and deep golden robe with green glints. At first, this champagne is delicate on the nose, marked by aromas of white fruits such as pears and apples, supported by a hint of salt and a few vegetal notes such as tea and verbena tea. After a slight airing, one discovers sweeter fragrances of creme patissiere and orange blossom. On the palate, R de Ruinart 2007 is complex and has a beautiful structure highlighted by a broad attack and bold finish. As every vintaged champagne of House Ruinart, it will gain in complexity and intensity with a few years more in cellar.
