The estate

The wine
This Finca Piedra Infinita Gravascal Malbec is a Mendoza wine crafted from vineyards planted at altitudes between 1,050 and 1,150 metres, on the flat plain south of the source of the Tunuyán River. The vines grow on soils composed of large granite stones and gravels covered with calcium carbonate,

Winemaking and ageing
Harvesting is carried out by hand with great rigour, each bunch meticulously sorted. The must is transferred by gravity into the vats, a gentle method that preserves the integrity of the fruit while limiting oxidation. Fermentation takes place in concrete vats using indigenous yeasts, in order to preserve the authenticity of the terroir. The ageing of this Vallée de Uco wine also occurs in concrete vats, imparting great depth and remarkable finesse to the wine.
