With its blending and bottling operations based in the prestigious Cognac region, the brand is driven by a commitment to creating unique profiles. By sourcing its raw materials from Indiana in the United States as well as from the Charente and Bordeaux regions, MAISON FAW demonstrates exacting standards. Perfect Old Fa(w)shioned: a cocktail with character
The Perfect Old Fa(w)shioned is the fruit of an innovative concept: pairing the intensity of American whiskeys with the elegance of French spirits. This cocktail is built on a meticulous blend of carefully selected raw materials.

On the one hand, it features rye, complemented by malted barley sourced directly from Indiana in the United States, providing the characteristic structure of American rye whiskeys. This base is enriched with French grain whiskies and blended in almost equal parts with a brandy aged in Bordeaux by the renowned Maison Lucien Bernard.

The components of this blend, crafted by our master blender Brendan Coyle, are aged for between 2 and 9 years, ensuring fine maturity before their final marriage. The entire blending and bottling process, without chill filtration, takes place in the Cognac region, a true guarantee of quality and respect for tradition.
