Description
Penfolds Magill Estate is a single vineyard Shiraz from the eastern suburbs of Adelaide City. The beautiful dark and shiny crimson Magill Estate 2012 offers a rich nose with expressive notes of tobacco, cigar, brown sugar, or even star anise and clove. The palate, full and generous, has a beautiful weight as well as very ripe dark fruit flavours. Robust, with firm tannins, Magill Estate 2012 carries a great aging potential of 15 to 20 years. Young wines require a bit of aeration before they can be enjoyed.
