Domaine Lejeune : Pommard Village "Les Trois Follots" 2023

Ex Lambrays winemaker! Transparent. But a little tight on the palate. (JR)

The 2023 Pommard Trois Follots has an elegant bouquet with redcurrant, cranberry and briar scents that open temptingly in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with sapid red fruit and an open, fleshy finish. Quite a "gentle" Pommard, this is probably early drinking compared to others—but for a Village Cru, this will do nicely.
