The elegance and freshness of a white wine from the Côte de Beaune
The estate
Located in France, in the heart of the Burgundy wine region, the Domaine du Comte Armand was founded in 1828, when the famous Clos des Épeneaux became part of the family heritage. Based in Pommard, the estate now covers 9 hectares. Still owned by the same family, the domaine is currently represented by Olivier Armand. Farmed organically and biodynamically, the Domaine du Comte Armand stands out for its philosophy of harmony between vine and nature, producing wines renowned for their perfect combination of power, refinement and elegance.
The vineyard
The grapes that go into this Burgundy wine come from plots classified under the regional appellation, located on the Côte de Beaune. The vineyard is farmed according to certified organic and biodynamic principles. Particular attention is paid to preserving biodiversity, meticulously tending the clay-limestone soils and strictly limiting yields so that the terroir can express itself to the full.
Vinification and ageing
The Bourgogne "Condemaine" 2024 is crafted with precision to preserve the purity and freshness of the fruit. Currently ageing at the estate, this wine receives meticulous care, with a restrained use of oak that highlights the natural elegance of the grape variety without ever masking it.
Grape variety
This wine is made exclusively from Chardonnay (100%).
