The estate
Founded in 1985 by David Hohnen, Cloudy Bay extends across Marlborough, New Zealand. Located at the entrance to the eponymous bay, between the Pacific Ocean and the Richmond Range, the estate thrives in a spectacular natural setting. Each cuvée is crafted with deep respect for the terroir and the environment, to reveal the distinctive expression of this great vineyard.

Hailing from the Marlborough region, this 2023 Chardonnay embodies one of the flagship appellations of the northeast of the South Island.
