Bordeaux - Saint-Estephe - Red - 13.5° Château Tronquoy-Lalande Château Tronquoy-Lalande 2008 1526/08
  • Parker : 90
  • J. Robinson : 15
This remarkable growth from Saint-Estèphe, very well known in the beginning of the XVIII century, is considered from that era on, to be one of the best growths of the region. Since July 2006, the purchase of the domain by Martin and Olivier BOUYGUES brought a new breeze highlighting all the qualities of this excellent growth. The soil of Château Tronquoy-Lalande is characterised by its remarkable site being on one of the highest points of the rural district of Saint-Estèphe, and this exceptional gravelly soil spreads out evenly in its vineyard.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Loaded with black currant and spring flower characteristics as well as a nice lashing of minerality, this sleeper of the vintage is a medium to full-bodied, luscious St.-Estephe to enjoy now and over the next 10-12 years.
