Wine Advocate-Parker :
Tasted at ChÃóteau Rauzan-Gassies vertical at the property. The 2006 ChÃóteau Rauzan-Gassies, a blend of 67% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 4% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot, has more black fruit than red, just a touch of mint with cedar coming through strongly with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with grainy tannin, a little more substance on the mid-palate than the 2005, with a straight-forward but nicely focused finish. It is not a memorable Margaux, but it is a satisfactory 2006 to drink over the next 8-10 years. Tasted June 2015.
