A Madiran red wine with a fresh and harmonious finish
"La Tyre" from Chateau Montus is a red wine from 100% Tannat produced in the Madiran appellation. The vintage is named after a district in the commune of Castelnau-Riviere-Basse. This exceptional product is produced from the best grapes from the plot. The vineyard is located on slopes of soil composed of pebbles and red clay. The wine is reared on lees, in new barrels, for 14-16 months.
Chateau Montus' "La Tyre" 2014 vintage is incredibly rich and displays both complexity and structure. The tannins are smooth and gives the wine incredible balance. In the mouth, "La Tyre" is elegant and fresh with a harmonious finish. An exceptional Madiran wine.
