2010 Pomerol from Bordeaux.
The 2010 Chateau l'Evangile gets its name from the exceptional conditions which guaranteed a slow and steady ripeness of the grape-varieties. This Pomerol displays a dark red colour and offers a remarkable intensity of scrumptious, fresh dark fruits. It gives off pleasant mocha, raspberry, wild strawberry and black cherry notes. Precise, frank and elegant, the palate offers a strong attack with a good concentration of distinguished, ripped, creamy and silky tannins. The finish remains fresh on the whole which gives a character of aromatic richness to this 2010 Pomerol Evangile. Itr offers a good ageing potential.

Wine Advocate-Parker :
Deep garnet in color, the 2010 L'Evangile strides confidently out of the glass with notes of chocolate-covered cherries, vanilla pod, sweaty leather and baked plums plus hints of tobacco leaf and cinnamon stick. Full-bodied, the generously fruited palate has a lovely, plush frame with oodles of freshness and a spicy kick to the finish.
