The 2014 Chateau Haut-Marbuzet maintains its charming wine reputation. This Saint-Estèphe is subtly feminine in its aromatic expressions without denying the sappy tannic structure, specific to the appellation. The nose is very floral at first and then opens up on a range of black fruits and a mineral hint (graphite), on a good aromatic freshness. The palate is soft with a well-extracted sappy, tannic structure with well-proportioned grain. This is a strong wine with a good ageing potential.
