Vinum

Very pale salmon-pink, almost clear. Exotic fruit aromas of pineapple and peach-passion fruit. On the palate, the same aromatic profile remains, but without becoming overly showy, as the wine stays pleasantly dry and slightly bitter. Powerful, vibrant acidity that brings tension and drive.

Cody Wexler

Intense peach gummy ring aromas jump out of the glass in combination with ripe pear. Vivid flavors coat the palate, up front is the salinity and bitterness followed by a lingering candied peach and dried apricot on the finish.

Andreas Larsson

Pale pink with a light copper hue. Youthful nose displaying pink citrus, floral notes, red currant, raspberry, and wild herbs. Medium weight with mild extract, a crisp backbone of acidity, fresh red berry flavours — pure and crisp with good length.

Le Figaro Vin

Aromas of pink grapefruit, stewed cherry and liquorice, with hints of harlequin sweets, echoed on the palate, with that acidity and savoury, mouthwatering character.

A refined and generous rosé from Provence

The estate

Located in the heart of the Côtes de Provence appellation, Maison Gassier embodies viticultural excellence and Provençal authenticity. Heir to expertise passed down through generations, the estate benefits from an exceptional environment, nestled at the foot of the Sainte-Victoire mountain. This privileged setting provides a microclimate ideal for crafting wines of character. Combining sustainable viticulture with innovation in the cellar, Maison Gassier enhances its terroir and offers unique cuvées marked by elegance and finesse.

The terroir

Sourced from plots located within the Côtes de Provence Sainte-Victoire appellation, Pas du Moine is made from vines rooted in clay-limestone soils, ensuring remarkable balance and freshness.

Winemaking and aging

The grapes are harvested at night to preserve their freshness. Direct pressing for 2 to 3 hours is carried out, followed by cold settling for one week. Fermentation then takes place in concrete vats to preserve the wine’s aromatic purity.

Blend

Syrah, grenache, cinsault, and rolle.
