The property

First among the 1855 Bordeaux classified growths, Château Lafite-Rothschild is a lord on its gravelly land. The bearer of a long winegrowing tradition that began in 1620, it has asserted itself over the centuries as a veritable standard bearer of the Pauillac appellation on the left bank of the Bordeaux region. The vineyard

Château Lafite Rothschild benefits from an exceptional location with a vineyard divided into three main areas. The Carruades plateau is located to the west of the estate on fine gravel and sand soils on limestone subsoils.

Blend

Carruades de Lafite 2022 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (53%), Merlot (40%), Cabernet Franc (4%) and Petit Verdot (3%).
