Description
A red wine from Pomerol
Château Nénin is located between Libourne and Pomerol. Unusual for the Pomerol appellation, this estate is spread over a large area that has 32 hectares of vines in production, and the estate benefits from a rich terroir. The blend of this wine is 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc.
At tasting, we can see that the Château Nénin 2001 has a deep reddish-purple colour. On the nose, we can smell truffle, black cherry, cranberry and currant. The palate offers quite large tannins, but the finish is short. The wine is at its peak (2016).
