Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2002 is a balanced champagne in which intense fruity aromas prevail, releasing fragrances such as cherry, plum, fig as well as wild strawberry and blueberry. The bouquet is delicately outlined by notes of mild spices such as liquorice, clove and cinnamon. The mint, honeysuckle and rose form floral and vegetal notes that enhance the bouquet. On the palate, the structure of the Moët & Chandon Grand Vintage Rosé 2002 is thick and harmonious leading to a nervous and delicately tangy finish. The latter reveals a freshness underlined by cherry and herbal notes.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2002 Brut Rose Grand Vintage is a richer, bolder wine than the Grand Vintage, just as it was in 2000. It possesses fabulous depth and richness, with layers of expressive fruit and terrific overall balance. Dried flowers, spices, licorice and herbs wrap around the finish. The 2002 doesn't quite have the freshness of most wines of this vintage, so it is best enjoyed sooner rather than later. This is Lot # LAGM5 AD AY. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2016.
