Description
The RWT is a very fruity wine, supple with a fine and elegant texture and made out of 100% Syrah from the Barossa Valley. It is named after the project which created it in 1995 at the Penfolds Estates: the Red Winemaking Trial. This 2011 vintage is adorned with a black dress with purple hues. The nose is elegant on plum, rhubarb, cranberries with a fine touch of vanilla. On the palate, the RWT 2011 is powerful, dense with persistent yet velvety tannins. The RWT 2011 is epxected to reach its peak from 2025 to 2030.
