The Brut Nature Cuvée is a grand classic from the Champagne house Alfred Gratien. The blend is dominated by the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier combined with the elegance of Chardonnay. This wine has a beautiful light golden robe, with sparkling and persistent bubbles. The nose is nicely fruity, with emerging notes of citrus evolving into aromas of fresh mango, peach and apricot. On the palate the Brut Nature from Alfred Gratien presents a lovely balance between aromatic force and the freshness of exotic fruit.

Based on 2008 (80% plus 20% Reserve wines), Alfred Gratien's citrus-colored Cuvée Classiqiue, the non-vintaged Brut blends Chardonnay (46%) with Pinot Noir (29%) and Pinot Meunier (25%). It fermented in oak barrels (no malolactic), was bottled in May 2009 and aged for almost five years on the lees before it was disgorged in March 2014 with 11.65 grams per liter dosage.
