The Hermitage Tardieu Laurent 2012 is 100% Syrah. This monocépage is typical in the appellation.it is distinguished by its minerality and its extremely fruity palate. The main characteristic of this wine is that it's balanced, classic and representative of its terroir. The old vines, 60 years minimum, bring an intense fruity note, and the aging in new oak barrels bring a powerful woody note. It is a well-balanced wine, elegant and racy. The fruit is very present and the palate is strong. L'Hermitage Tardieu Laurent 2012 can be appreciated now or in a few years.
