A Chardonnay white wine produced in the Chablis 1er Cru appellation, the Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu 2014 from Simonnet-Febvre benefits from vines aged 35 years on average planted on Kimmeridgian soils. The Mont de Milieu 2014 was aged on fine lees for 12 months.
At tasting, the Chablis 1er Cru Mont de Milieu 2014 of Simonnet-Febvre reveals a nose combining power and intensity, emitting scents of yellow fruits, along with subtle notes of pineapple. On the palate, the Mont de Milieu 2014 shows a roundness and richesse, before revealing a beautiful minerality on the finish.
