A Silky and Fruity Savigny-lès-Beaune
A historic and quite prestigious growing region of Burgundy, the small and picturesque village of Savigny-lès-Beaune is located between the mountain of Corton and Beaune, on the Côte d'Or. It is upon these great Burgundy terroirs that the renowned Remoissenet Père & Fils acquired parcels of vines, in the appellation Savigny-lès-Beaune.
Produced in very limited quantities (only 1,500 bottles for the 2016 vintage), the Savigny-lès-Beaune Village 2016 from Remoissenet Père & Fils is matured in 2-ton wooden vats, followed by 5 oak barrels, of which 2 are new.
Renowned for their superbly crafted fine Burgundy wines, Maison Remoissenet Père & Fils has created a Savigny-lès-Beaune Village with gorgeous ripe fruit aromas. A true success of its vintage, the Savigny-lès-Beaune 2016 seduces with its smooth texture and beautiful length.
A Burgundy wine of character to pair with veal or braised beef. This wine will age beautifully in the bottle over the next 15 years (by 2033).
