The estate

Maison Louis Max, founded in 1859, watches over some twenty hectares that spread over prestigious appellations and is an essential reference for Burgundy wines.

Although the Genevan businessman Stanko Subotić acquired the estate. A great enthusiast of the Burgundy terroir, he surrounded himself with illustrious experts such as Jean-François Joliette and David Duban in order to produce great wines that authentically and perfectly express the potential of these exceptional terroirs.

Louis Max is one of the largest estates to be cultivated using organic farming farming practices and to be certified by Ecocert. The vineyards are managed with the utmost respect for nature and with the smallest possible human intervention, resulting in wines that are recognised by the greatest international critics.
