2009 Pauillac Chateau Grand-Puy-Lacoste Second Wine
Chateau Lacoste-Borie 55-hectar vineyard lies on a gravel rump in western Pauillac and benefits from great sun exposure and good drainage. The 2009 Chateau Lacoste-Borie is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 28% Merlot, 2% Cabernet Franc.
This offering displays a beautiful ruby-red colour. The bouquet reveals a vast array of fragrances with very ripe currant and spices. The unique and quite broad palate combines pleasantly fruity structure with balanced tannins to create a persistent, harmonized, and round ensemble.
