La Sirène de Giscours 2014

Bordeaux - Margaux - Red - 13.5° Château Giscours Château Giscours 2014 1010/14

2014 Margaux, Second wine of Chateau Giscours from Bordeaux.

The 2014 Sirène de Giscours is a Second wine of Chateau Giscours.  It is a delicious Margaux, balanced between intense aromas and true freshness. One can appreciate the clear smashed raspberry expression followed by red rose petal fragrances. The palate is very soft on supple tannins of alluring palpable pleasure, on a creamy backbone, nervous on the finish. It is, without a doubt, an original wine and a success in the category of Second wines from Medoc

Wine Advocate-Parker :
The 2014 La Sirène de Giscours is a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 10% Cabernet Franc. It has a light, cedar-scented bouquet that feels a little rustic. The palate is medium-bodied with high acidity on the entry. It feels a little pinched and needs more flesh to develop toward the finish.;2017 - 2022
