The Domaine Josmeyer’s Pinot Grand Cru de Hengst is made from the Pinot Gris variety on a 53.02 hectare vineyard that uses organic and biodynamic agricultural practices. It is a wine often compared to those from Burgundy’s Chambertin.

At tasting, the 2001 Pinot Grand Cru de Hengst from Domaine Josmeyer has a powerful nose with limestone aromas. On the palate, it has a full mouthfeel with a pleasant acidity.
