Description
Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Cailleret Monopole 2015 from Jean Chartron : a round and dry white wine
Coming from monopole parcels owned by the Chartron family since 1917, the Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Cailleret Monopole 2015 of Jean Chartron is a white wine made from Chardonnay vines planted in clay-limestone soils. The fermentation is carried out in oak barrels (30% new and 70% with 1 to 5 previous uses). The ageing is initially done in oak barrels on fine lees for 12 months, before finishing with 4 months in vats.
With its golden dress, the Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Clos du Cailleret Monopole 2015 of Jean Chartron develops aromas of great complexity, perfectly combining floral notes (iris) with nutty ones (green almond). This wine, with its beautiful density, is round, dry and boasts great acidity. This is a wine to be consumed between 2020 to 2030.
This comment is intended to describe the general profile of the wine at one given moment. Note that over time, the wine (which inevitably evolves in the bottle) may develop other organoleptic qualities.
