The ruby-tinted bright and intense red 2010 Meal gives off wooden leather aromas, the whole paired with delicious dark berry notes. On the palate, the 2010 Ferraton Pere & Fils Le Meal has a lot of density and a beautiful velvety texture, even if the tannins are quite present. The Syrah vineyard from which the Ferraton Pere & Fils Le Meal is produced, grows on terraces with round pebbles, facing south on the Meal slope, on the appellation of Ermitage. The wine was then aged in oak barrels for 14 to 18 months in order to give it a good ageing potential.
