The Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia 2015 is 100% Sangiovese from the prestigious Cantina Fèlsina that reveals all the expression of the greatest wines of Tuscany in Italy.

Rancia comes from a rigorous plot selection and its name comes from an ancient Benedictine monastery that is located on the estate. Nestled amongst the Castelnuovo Berardenga hills between 400 and 420 metres above sea level, the Rancia vineyard enjoys an exceptional location in the heart of Tuscany in the southern part of the Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG appellation.

Paying tribute to the iconic black grape of Chianti, a massal selection program of old vines illustrates the estate’s attempts to protect the purity and authenticity of the celebrated Sangiovese variety for future generations. The name itself means "Blood of Jupiter".

The beautiful Chianti Classico Riserva Rancia Fèlsina 2015 seduces the eyes with its brilliant ruby red colour. The elegant vintage unveils all the intensity of its aromatic bouquet. It offers beautiful fruity notes of cherry and wild red berry along with spicy and toasty scents. There are also delicate floral and mineral notes. On the palate, the wine’s delicious personality reveals itself with spicy notes supported with well-integrated tannins and vibrant acidity.
