Description
A complex and delicious Piedmont wine by Bruno Rocca
The estate
From the 1950s onwards, the Rocca family gradually acquired plots of vines near the town of Barbaresco, in the Piedmont region.
In 1978, Bruno Rocca, a former miner, decided to produce his own wines. His ambition was to elabotate wines that express the richness and authenticity this great terroir of Italian wines.
The vineyard
Bruno Rocca reigns over a 15-hectare vineyard.
The wine
Bruno Rocca's Barbera d'Asti 2019 stems from a vineyard located in the village of Vaglio Serra on a soil composed of limestone, sand and red clay.
Vinification and ageing
The wine is vinified for 10 to 15 days in steel vats. The wine is aged in French oak barrels for approximately 12 months.

Colour
Intense and deep red colour with purple hues.
Nose
The nose blends ripe fruit fragrances (plum, blackberry, black cherry, blueberry) with delicious notes of almond and hazelnut.
