The aromatic richness and finesse of a Barbaresco wine
The estate
Prunotto is an Italian estate with a cultural, historical and traditional winemaking tradition. The wines produced have the typical scents of the grapes grown in its surrounding hills. The various vineyards of the Antinori - Prunotto estate are located in the best agricultural areas of Piedmont. The estate uses all the modern technology necessary to produce high quality Piedmont wines.
The vineyard
The 50 hectares of the estate are located in Alba, at an equal distance from Barbaresco and Barolo. This iconic name among Piedmont wines is set on a beautiful, smooth and colourful plain in the Langhe and Roero region.
Winemaking and ageing
Destemming and crushing before a maceration of about 10 days. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation. Aged for 12 months in oak barrels followed by a further year of bottle ageing before being released on the market.

Nebbiolo (100%).

Tasting
Colour
The colour unveils an intense garnet red colour, adorned with dark ruby highlights.
Nose
The nose releases scents of wild berries, violets and licorice and also spices (cinnamon, clove).
Palate
Full-bodied, the palate reveals fine tannins throughout the tasting as well as delicious ripe fruit scents.
