Château Grand Corbin Manuel

Chateau Grand Corbin Manuel is a family affair. For several generations, the de Gaye family has owned several Châteaux renowned for their AOC Saint-Emilion Grand Cru Classé and Pomerol. Stéphane de Gaye decided to buy this estate in 2005 after falling in love at first sight with the 7 hectares in a single block, ideally situated and hemmed in by a perimeter of Grand Cru Classé vineyards -- five Grand Corbins -- which enhance Grand Corbin Manuel's surroundings, and this led to Stéphane de Gaye's desire to involve his children. His daughter Yseult, then 25, had the exhilarating task of flying the flag for the estate. With her team, Yseult runs the domain which has a promising future as it has everything going for it -- the terroir as well as the desire for human perfection - to create authentic, astutely vinified wines by hand.
