Description
Condrieu Brèze 2015 of Louis Chèze: a white wine with a fantastically long finish
The Condrieu Brèze by Louis Chèze is a single-varietal Viognier white wine produced in the Condrieu appellation. Spread over a 2-hectare plot, this vineyard benefits from vines aged 30 years on average and planted on a soil composed of old granite and alluvium of the Ice Age. The ageing of the wine is carried out in oak barrels (new barrels and those used for 2 to 3 previous wines), for 8 to 10 months depending on the vintage.
With its golden colour, the Condrieu Brèze 2015 by Louis Chèze develops aromas of fruit (apricot) mixed with honey. On the palate, the attack is frank and straight, the wine offering aromas of great richness and beautiful balance. On the finish, the Condrieu Brèze 2015 is long and expresses tasty touches of honey and minerals.
