Chablis Vieilles Vignes de Sainte Claire 2015 from Jean-Marc Brocard : an energetic and balanced white wine
The Chablis Vieilles Vignes de Saint Claire from Jean-Marc Brocard is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine produced in the Chablis appellation. Around 70 years old, the vines are planted over 25 meters deep in Kimmeridgian soil. After malolactic fermentation, the wine is aged in stainless steel vats for 12 months, profiting from native yeasts.
At tasting, the Chablis Vieilles Vignes de Sainte Claire 2015 from Jean-Marc Brocard gives off aromas of anise combined with notes of citrus (pink grapefruit, lemon). The nose is fairly saline, crisp and characterised by beautiful aromatic persistence. On the palate, the Chablis Vieilles Vignes of Sainte Claire 2015 reveals a wonderful balance and is very energetic.
