2014 Saint-Julien from Bordeaux.
The 2014 Langoa Barton is a typical Saint-Julien. This barely traditional wine offers a good aromatic expression on the nose. Indeed, it gives off red berry (wild raspberry and milky notes) and very delicate woody fragrances. The aromas freshness is pleasant. The acid palate reveals a both soft and sappy tannic backbone. The retro-olfaction echoes the nose and the finish is a hallmark of the Famille Barton wines. This Saint-Julien is a pleasurable wine and a true representative of the appellation.
