Chateau Lalande Borie 25-hectar vineyard is located on the western plateau of Saint-Julien appellation. The 2013 Chateau Lalande Borie blend flavours the Cabernet Sauvignon combined with smaller proportions of Merlot and Cabernet Franc.
The vintage displays a deep ruby hue. The nose is dominated by raspberry, and red currant notes, as well as lovely scents of roses. The 2013 Chateau Lalande Borie offers lovely structure, with very appealing fruits and pleasant freshness. The palate is smooth with nice length.
Wine Advocate-Parker :
An attractive, easygoing, low-level Bordeaux with modest black cherry and black currant fruit intermixed with underbrush and loamy soil notes, and a medium-bodied, delicate finish, the 2013 Lalande Borie can be drunk over the next 3-4 years.
