At tasting, the 2008 Domaine Chanson Clos des Mouches Beaune 1er Cru reveals a pale gold colour. On the nose, floral scents dominate along with notes of green almond, fresh honey, minerals and vanilla. On the palate, there is a supple attack that reveals beautiful creaminess and hints of oak. It is a well-structured wine with balalanced acidity that provides a long and persistent finish.
